"A
nice day in the shade here at the Paramount skatepark. The city crew
that oversees this park were pleased to have us. As a matter of fact,
we need to thank them for handling the ever-so-rebellious snakeboarder
that was on the loose! This guy was the cream of the crop—he pulled
up on his Harley Sportster donning a leather jacket, snakeboard in
hand. After Beau spent a grueling amount of time explaining to the
snakeboard warrior why we don’t sponsor things like that, the warrior
charged the park, gnarling the coping without any pads. Oooooh! After
a few more pestering moments brought to us by the warrior, the local
peace officers showed-up and told him to beat it!...."

Kevin: and thought I would read about that park I went to.. LOL
Kevin: I can't believe it..
Kara: hahahahha

Kara: so like why did they kick u out then?
Kevin: because I didn't have any pads...
Kara: oh dam
Kevin: they make you wear pads out here
Kara: same here, most places
Kevin: and I didn't have my pads..
Kara: yeah
Kevin: but I was out of the skate section
by the time the cops got there.. so there was NOTHING they could do...
Kara: rite
Kara: u were asking them to sponsor u? and what was their reason why
they "don’t sponsor things like that" ???
Kevin: lol
Kevin: yea pretty much
Kevin: and "we are out of buget"
Kevin: lol
Kara: oh yeah rite
Kevin: I know...
Kevin: out of budget.. but throwin the BBQ's all summer...
Kevin: but I think they got the food pretty cheap.. tastes like CRAP..

Kevin: they remembered me.. that might be a good thing for when the
sport gets big and they do sponser us..

Kevin: I have work in 1.5 hours..
OK, so I wouldn't exactly
recommend doing this. But for the stage our sport is at right now, pretty
much ANY exposure is good exposure, so yeah...
